Introduction of Ji-Yue Villa
Jiu-Zhou Lake is a quiet and secluded mountain settlement, and later the Agriculture Committee has promoted the "Rich Countryside" project, and developed the mountain settlement into a combination of agriculture and tourism leisure area. The original environment is a beautiful mountain and river condition, and has been improved with recreational facilities of trails, pavilions and landscape table. The local farmers have set up sightseeing orchards and Hakka restaurants. With these preparation, Jiu-Zhou Lake is expected to become a popular leisure area.
There are three hiking trails in the Jiu-Zhou Lake area, namely, "Jiu-fu", "Guan- Nan" and "Ji-Yue". Hiking trails can be found in the mountain and the lake area. Three trails have been planned with stone steps, red brick, or sleepers. The trails are also wide and safe to walk freely. People can absorb the natural phytoncide for about two hours while walking these three trails among the old acacia trees, suitable leisure trails for young and old people as well as children.
"Ji-Yue Villa" becomes famous because it is close to Ji-Yue trail. People can come to Ji-Yue Villa from Ji-shan Bridge of Jiu-fu road along the river with bald pines planted by the Soil and Water Conservation Bureau. The bald pines have different color in four different seasons. The scenery is especially beautiful in the winter like the northland style bleak landscape.
The residence also retains the traditional Hakka red brick house, part of the villa is currently open for the accommodation and resting place of tourists. Allegedly, the children of the original house owner are very smart with good school grades. Currently, they are very successful in the education sector and hold high work positions in the academia circle.
This house is built facing the mountain with river and backing mountain geographical location, the so called good Feng-Shui pattern " Jade Belt Waist ", and this house is also called "Champion Home" by the local people. This house retains the ancient hakka kitchen stove that worships the traditional Chinese gods called "Stove God". When visitors arrive at the "Ancient House", they are greeted with a row of red brick and tile-roofed house. Walking red brick on the floor, the visitors will experience the sense of the past. Under the hundred-year lychee tree in the courtyard, tourists can rest and chat. In the manor, there are several old camphor trees that are extremely large and precious old trees.
The green grass is planted in the garden and there is a "Big Fish" in the form of a fish pond, where the carps swim in fish pond and the wood flooring platform is the best view of the beautiful scenery and the bald pines. It is also possible to gaze at “South Park”from the manor, a good recreational activity venue for the group tourists to dance and sing songs. It is like a paradise and it is also a wonderful choice for vacation and relaxation.
